I am selling my Canadian Shoebox Ford Mercury Meteor V8, 2 door sedan very rare, in perfect running condition. These cars are getting harder and harder to find in original condition Especially in Canada. This car was garage kept it's whole life. Restored a few years back to original specifications. Original 239 Flathead V8. Paint is excellently done and shows little wear. The undercarriage is as nice as the paint there are no rust patches and this car is straight as an arrow. Starts up on first crank. Original matching numbers engine body and transmission and color. 3 speed on the tree. The car is plated a and antique. All wipers heat and clock work fine. Original 6 volt system with generator. Wide white wall bias ply tires, period correct dual exhaust with smithys 26? mufflers to give that flathead that distinctive sound. The car suspension is brand new and rides nice and straight. All seals and brakes like new condition. A real gem. My reason for selling it is family commitments.
